If you are a YouTuber you might be knowing the importance that viral videos have for growth of your channel. So today we will try to unravel some of the common factors that are found in most of if not all videos that go Viral!

Let’s get straight to the point: 

1. Duration: the first thing that will always matter is the duration. Coz in today’s busy life no one has time to watch long video. So if a video is between 2-4 minutesthen there are more chances of it getting viral.
2. Dance or Music: Not all but maximum of the videos that go viral have either an elemnt of dance or of music in them. For Example: Ganganam Style, Dabbu Uncle, Dhinchak Pooja etc.
3. Trending Topics: There is a high probability of a video to go viral if it is on a trending topic.
4. Emotions: Now this is one of the most important Factors for a video to be viral. It must be able to generate an emotion. It does not have to be a good emotion like making someone happy if it is equally disgusting then also there is a high chance that it may go viral.
5. Audience: The video should have a mass appeal. Let me explain with an easy example. Have you ever thought that why are funny dogs or videos of cats doing silly things become viral? Well it’s a very simple answer; think about the number of pet lovers in the world. So its relatively easy maths the higher the audience for a particular video the greater the chance of it going viral.
6. External Factors: This one’s a rare phenomenon but if there is a video about even the stupidest of things but, a social media influencer or a celebrity tweets about it or mentions it then Volla! There fans will go crazy on the video and then the chance of that video going viral increases dramatically.
